Here is our new lady to the kennel, Annwyn (pronounced ann-win), a similar name to her momma's, Olwyn (pronounced all-win). Annwyn means "very beautiful" and she lives up to this. She was chosen as our bred-up bitch from her dam, combined with Azikiel. Olwyn was a very bitchy, athletic, female with a flowing silhouette and unique head. She did, however, lack bone and overall substance, but her angulation was good. She did have a couple tiny, changeable things such as upright pasterns, substantial jowls and lip pockets, and a high tailset. Azikiel is a strong, typical male and he covered these changeable traits. He improved Olwyn considerably, while her strengths stuck.

Some of Annwyn's high points...
Good substance and bone for a bitch.
Medium abdominal tuck.
Acceptable rear angulation.
Golden (not yellow) eyes with pigmented nictitating membranes.
Proportionate head but muzzle could be a wee bit longer and deeper.
Good cat feet.
Upright pasterns like mom.
Long topline and high tailset but slightly-rounded croup.
Minimal white spotting.

In movement, she has the correct scissor movement and I have never seen her 'pace'. She covers lots of ground and does not tire easily. She is thrifty and doesn't need a ton of food. Her movement is more enduring than powerful. She can perform tasks that require quickness and agility. She is 25.4" at the shoulder, shorter than both parents, and 118 lbs at best.
