SIRE: EMILIO

Breed CANE CORSO
Color FORMENTINO (BLUE FAWN)
Temperament Willing to please, dominant, intuitive, "showy", outgoing, stable
Production History Above average producer. With a bitch of good structure and longer muzzle than he, Emilio produces outstanding dogs. With a bitch of lesser structure, dogs are mediocre in conformation. Thrown relatively above average health scores. Colors thrown: Formentino, fawn, now blue brindle as well. Produces clear-headed puppies with a healthy curiosity of the world and quick learners.
Family History Sire VG hips. Dam E hips. Brother E hips. Sister G hips. No heart, eye, or thyroid problems in direct ancestors.

DAM: ARABELA

Breed CANE CORSO
Color SOLID BLUE
Temperament Reserved, extremely intelligent, independent, high energy
Production History This is Arabela's first litter. There is no production history on her.
Family History Dam G hips. Sire G hips. Brother F hips. No heart, eye, or thyroid problems in direct ancestors.

PUPPY INFORMATION

:bulletred: Puppy #1 Medium-large in size
Color Blue brindle (heavily brindled), concentrated most on head, on a yellowish-grey fawn base
EYES: Caramel (dominant, 75% chance of passing it on to offspring)
PAW PADS: Dark bluish-grey
MARKINGS: A bit of white over the bridge of muzzle, not bleeding into the nose (accepted in standard), and a small white dot on chest
Sex Female
Maximum Adult Height/Weight 125/27"
Description Puppy1 is a quieter type. At birth, she was nicknamed "lucky," because at birth she was not breathing. I did everything I could to save her, including suctioning her lungs, rubbing her intensely with a warm towel, putting a NutriDrop on her tongue, swooping her up and down to get more fluid out of her lungs, and even gave her CPR. Seventeen minutes passed and she started squeaking. After that, although I kept an eye on her the most, she gained weight the quickest and really made a comeback. When the litter was old enough to get out of the whelping box and move around, she would go and investigate something curiously and quietly, sniff it, and walk away with tail up. With the other puppies, she wouldn't tend to pick fights unless they were eating, and then she would, immediately followed up by a quick tap on the nose by myself. In individual training, she is prone to wander unless you keep her attention very well with high-value treats and a high-pitched voice. She is a problem solver; often I have had to come up with different ways to keep her enclosed; she was crate trained 2 weeks before the others because of this! She is an escape artist, which is a great trait for something such as tracking, as she is not worried about wandering away from me to find a treat I accidentally dropped on the floor. She will come quickly when called, though. She will require a lot of training from the getgo and would do excellently with a home who is very recreational and active, but strict about leashing the dog. If she matures with the "wandering" trait, that will be rather deviated from the norm of a Cane Corso - they typically like to stick near their owner, hence lots of obedience training!
Suitable For Conformation, Tracking, Agility. Probably not protection sports.
Price A full reference in adulthood and puppyhood (in the same picture), with a development story.

:bulletred: Puppy #2 Medium (RETAINED BY FORTEZZA)
Color Formentino (blue fawn), greyish yellow, not rich like Emilio
EYES: Rich beige with gold flecks
PAW PADS: Dark grey
MARKINGS: White two front feet
Sex Female
Maximum Adult Height/Weight 115/27"
Description of Temperament As early as 3 weeks, Puppy2 assumed alpha position over the other two. She is not bitey or snappy like Puppy3, because she is so self-assured in her position that she doesn't have to be defensive like that. She reminds me so much of Emilio in temperament, which is just one of the many reasons why I want to keep her back. She has an accentuated "puppy sillyness" that she has always had. She was born very thrifty, latching ASAP. She rarely cried except when she was picked up before her eyes opened (not a huge fan of that). As she got older, she still didn't really like being picked up but would put up with it so long as whoever was picking her up did it right and made her feel safe. She's a very chubby puppy and everybody loves her, not to mention her unique coloring. In training sessions, she is rather opposite to Puppy1 in that, when I walk away, she instantly follows me wherever I go. She is a shadow dog, always following me around. She takes right away to friendly people which shows me she will probably be a rather outgoing dog. She is structurally sound and will most likely be shown in conformation, something I wish I had done with Emilio but never had the time to do.
Suitable For Conformation (very showy attitude like her sire), obedience, possibly protection work because of her confidence; we'll see
Price Not available; retained!

:bulletred: Puppy #3 Largest of the litter, medium for a male. Taken.
Color Blue brindle (heavily brindled, concentrated most on belly; on a more tan base coat than Puppy1
EYES: Dark, chocolate brown
PAW PADS: Dark bluish grey
MARKINGS: Right front forefoot white, patch of white on chest
Sex Male
Maximum Adult Height/Weight 130/27"
Description of Temperament Puppy3 is runner up alpha of the litter, but Puppy2 takes the cake. Because of his "runner up"-ness, he is a bit snappy with food and toys when other puppies are around, so this requires immediate discipline, as he should not be allowed to be snappy. He will be a big boy when he grows up and anything you wouldn't allow him to do as an adult, he shouldn't be allowed to do as a puppy. Other than that, he is the most generally level-headed, closest to perfect in temperament to the other two, in that he has learned several basic commands with me in under two weeks including sit, stay, wait, come, stack, and release. He is very puppy-like and, just like every other puppy in the world, needs firm, but loving handling, and a medium amount of exercise. He is slightly "lazy" in that he is definitely not one to run around my feet as I walk or bark incessantly while I bring out the food, unlike Puppy2! He would be a great dog for a well-mannered family of children who know the rules and what to do and what not to do with a puppy, who will respect him now and when he is fully grown. Puppy3 is an intelligent guy. The other two are either mostly like one of the parents, but Puppy3 is a great blend of Arabela and Emilio.
Suitable For Conformation, any sport except something that requires attention to detail
Price A full reference in adulthood and puppyhood (in the same picture), with a development story.
